CARERS ACT Library
Carers ACT hold libraries for our members at both the Belconnen and Torrens offices. The libraries contain a selection books and audiovisual items to assist you in your caring role and in your life in general.

The Belconnen Library also provides internet access. Use of the library and internet facilities is free of charge. You can come into our Belconnen or Torrens offices to borrow books, or use the internet at Belconnen, anytime between 9am and 5pm weekdays. And now you can also borrow online.
Borrowing Online
To borrow a book or audiovisual item online, browse the catalogues via the links above. Once you have selected the books/audiovisuals you wish to borrow, send an email to carers@carersact.asn.au including the author, title and call number of the books/audiovisual item you wish to borrow. We will then post out your requests with a return satchel so that you can post them back to us when you are finished at no cost.
The borrowing rules are as follows:
1. You must be an ACT resident and a registered member
of Carers ACT to borrow books (Carers ACT membership is FREE)
2. Books/audiovisuals may be borrowed for a four week loan period initially
3. Items can be renewed for longer periods by arrangement
4. Members are limited borrow to two books and/ or one video per loan
period
